Constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, and overlaid by a golden yellow diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
