A 6Th Riga Infantry Regiment Badge, C.1929 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac with raised edgingIn bronze, the obverse centre bears a circle with multiple rays, over that is a downwards facing sword directly in the centre with a swastika on the cross guard and a 6 on the blade, below lay two crossed branches, the reverse shows the attachment prongs of the obverse pieces and a screwback, the plate is marked , measuring 40. 37 mm (w) x 71. 19 mm (h), very fine.
